The company «Pouliopoulos Automations» was founded in 2021. Although it is considered a new company, Giorgos Pouliopoulos and his team of specialized engineers have been active in the field of automation since 1999. In these 27 years, they have successfully installed control systems in projects related to energy, industry, and machine manufacturing, most of which continue to operate to this day!
ENERGY
Hydroelectric Power Plant Control Systems
The company has significant experience in the energy sector, having implemented control systems for more than 50 small hydroelectric power plants in Greece and abroad.
The interventions cover both initial installation and modernization of existing units, in projects with a lifespan extending over decades.
SMART ENERGY MANAGEMENT (EMS)
We undertake the development and implementation of energy management systems (EMS) in:
- On-grid installations (industries with self-generation of energy)
- off-grid installations, such as the Monasteries of Mount Athos
These systems allow for dynamic management of available energy sources (photovoltaics, hydro turbines, etc.), ensuring a stable supply and optimal energy efficiency at reduced cost.
HEDNO TELECONTROL SYSTEMS (Setpoints)
The company has implemented a total of 72 HEDNO remote management systems (setpoints) in renewable energy projects, which allow for the supervision and control of generated power.
The projects include:
- 57 hydroelectric power plants
- 14 photovoltaic parks
- 1 unit of biomass
INDUSTRY
We maintain a permanent partnership with the multinational companies Tosoh Hellas and Sonoco Metal Packaging, undertaking any additions, modifications, or repairs to their automation systems.
At the same time, we have implemented control systems in numerous factories, both during the initial installation and in extensions of buildings and production departments.
MACHINERY
In the food industry, our contribution is crucial. The automation of peeling and pasteurization, and the automatic filling of jars and containers for the companies «Ten Brink Hellas,» «Sampidis Manufacturing,» and «HFM – Hellenic Food Machinery IKE» is an integral part of the production process.
At «Koumaki S.A.» we are programming a belt tower automation system for product cooling or humidification.
At «Axis Medical,» we program automated processes, ensuring a clean environment for processing human tissue samples.
MAINTENANCE & SUPPORT
Remote access to the control systems we install is possible for monitoring and modifying their operation.
Once agreed, we enter into maintenance contracts with 24/7 services for immediate fault diagnosis and technical support.
